Sydney's Monorail
Sydney once, like Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook, had a monorail. It was in operation from 1988 to 2013, serving Darling Harbor (a tourist-ish area) and downtown with a loop service.

On my first trip to Sydney many years ago, I had the opportunity to ride the Monorail. (Photo gallery below). I can't say it was especially useful, we just rode it for the ride. Unlike the Trams, there hasn't been much visible regret about their disappearance. The Monorail seems just one more example of urban featuritis, one that in this case was end-of-lifed.
